too much creativity! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=19721.msg250223#msg250223

(hope this is correct place to post)

I spend a fair bit of time in the general  "Card Ideas and Art" section, and given that loads of new ideas come every day (which is great!) I was wondering if there should be perhaps some sort of split into subsections like creatures, permanents and spells perhaps, to avoid missing some new cards because there's loads of new posts all the time?

I say this as one of my cards got missed by many, and only when I 'bumped' it, did I suddenly get loads of really useful feedback and response, just think it would be a shame for anyone if they miss out, not sure what's best, just putting it out there....

Rather belong to the 'Forum Suggestions and Feedback'-section. I do agree, though, really good point there. I'm always confused because of said things and that can be changed easily. Adds more clearance as well!

I think a far better solution would be for series to be introduced slowly instead of all at once.

There is quite a load of creativity, as shown when the "Avatar" series got introduced recently - it pretty much took up the whole front page of CI&A.

Oldtrees is correct, and an unofficial limit of cards is okay (again, we don't want entire series taking up the front page), but there needs to also be some sort of organization for card ideas - hopefully the upcoming Card Ideas database will help alleviate the problem.

The organization in the form of the card database will (eventually) categorize cards that have been entered into the crucible or higher.

Cards that have not entered the crucible are too dynamic to be categorized and may even change type.

The smithy is unorganized but that is the nature of the lowest level of the weeding process.

As for an unofficial limit, I think it should be a flexible limit that denotes expectations not hard and fast requirements.

Something like 3-4 cards per day or (6 cards per day if it is a series). This is my personal preference because it makes reviewing every card easier for me (and improves my reading comprehension).

I've also been thinking,
people have been sharing topics where they link all their cards (good idea, if you like someone's style, you may want to see their other cards etc). perhaps there could be another section for these, like series, so that it helps free up space for just single card ideas? Just a thought..
