Currently people see two intro music options:

A. Old music (that everyone has been listening to for the past year)
B. New music

Now which one do you think the general public will pick? :)

Of course they will go with the new one because they are bored with the old one and like the change. I have no doubt in mind that if this piano version was first and guitar came later, we would have posts like: "Wow, that new smooth guitar is awesome!".

It's the same thing with the new art. When Zanz made the poll, all new art won by a landslide. Every single one of them. It raises the question: was all that new art so much better, or did people simply vote for the new ones because they like change?

Even though I think the new music isn't good intro music, even I feel that it's refreshing after listening to that guitar for a year. That's human nature. We get bored and want a change.

Had we been given an option C or D, people might have totally different opinions. But since the only other option is the old guitar, it's no surprise that most people are excited.
I desagree. It´s not it´s new that people will like. I like lot´s of 80´s and 90´s music and it´s not we are at 2010 that i have to like the new songs. Nowadays, for me, new songs suck. Rock is not like was one day. It´s my taste.
The new art are better because are more detailled, more sophisticated, more powerfull, more professional. The old pillars seemed be made by a child, with that clouds. Like many other older cards, that need a refresh on the art, not about the figure, but more definition, more live colors.

What i´m trying to say is that people get annoyed about old stuff like you said, but not all.
And some people think that a simple look is best. Not everyone agreed with the pillar art change anyway.

If you want to make a poll on the new music, give the staff time to design compositions for a few, then let the audience pick one. Otherwise, let people slowly get used to it first, then decide which one they like better. Either option needs time, and since music doesn't affect gameplay much, I don't think a poll is needed atm.

Poll?  Who cares about popular opinion?  This is about what Zanz wants.  Of course he does want the game to appeal to a large number of people, but if I were him, I wouldn't necessarily pick the best-liked music just because it was such.  I'd choose the music I liked the best.
