Multilingualism!

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the 'multilingual' section... but since I am not 'talking in my crazy language' in an 'off-topic' manner, I decided to put it here =)

Did Zan ever consider going multilingual with Elements? I'm sure the players could help translate the game into at least half a dozen languages =D

I work professionally with two (non-English) languages, and speak a couple more.

(though... to keep the quality up, please don't volunteer if you think Snoopy is not a 'manga' )

What languages should it be in?
Will it be worth the effort to get the coverage?
For myself I hardly read any components in the game if at all. Would the wiki or guide be a better option in other languages allowing Zanz to save dev time for mechanics but still give persons who deal better in other laguages a more clariative wording?

Btw, the texts are simple. I don't think they need translation.

I'd help with portuguese. At least in kongregate, i find many, and i mean MANY brazilian and portuguese people in the game chat. oh sure, most times they barely speak, but since when i'm waiting for a PvP duel to get started i give a look, i see a lot of people with names in portuguese. multilingualing(is that correct? o_O) the game would be a really nice addition.

Even thou I don't really think it's NECESSARY, as Rabbid stated, " the texts are simple", this would be a nice addition. Since it's just text, it's not hard to modify and add a "Language" option in the Settings.

Although I would support it, and even help with the translation, I don't think it would work with the current card text space. In some languages there would be no way to translate the card description properly without going out of that little box. Smaller fonts could work, but I don't think we will see that anytime soon.

Hmm... good point. after thinking a little, even trying to translate something like "Amethyst Dragon" would turn into "Dragão da Ametista" in portuguese... 2 more characters. now trying to translate a whole Creature Text... Won't even think about some FG names or Oracle Descriptions... o_o
