Because otherwise players will change the initial hand until they have the cards they want.

I like the idea of mulligans. We've all had those games where you don't get a pillar for the first few rounds. If you still don't have one on turn 4 it's pretty much game over.

To stop folks from abusing it just put a limit or cost on it. Only one mulligan allowed during turn 1, and/or only if no pillars are drawn, and/or once the deck is reshuffled only 6 cards are drawn instead of 7.
I absolutely agree  :) :) :)

hi, i´d like to see mulligans only on first round with no pillars in hand. starting with 6 cards to prevent abuse is a good idea, too.

I don't like putting all these conditions on mulligans.  Why can't we just let it be up to the player?

So we can't mulligan when we have all pillars in hand?

I say just make it Paris-style mulligans that reshuffle your deck and give you 1 less card every time you do it in a game until you only get 1 card.

But I prefer simplicity.

This is the first and most important improvement I would make to this game. It would limit the luck factor which would be great.

Can we please have the option to mulligan our hands at the initial draw? Preferably in the Paris-style mulligan a la Magic the Gathering, in which you can reshuffle your hand into your deck and redraw with one less card.
that would be awesome, then it'll be much easier to beat gods

I say leave it. This wouldn't be a card game without randomness. If you want to remove randomness from your opening hand you should pay the price --> have more cards of that type on your deck.

I played a near mono-fire deck before. ^ lava golems, in pvp, I didn't draw any until my last six cards. I payed your price, and nothing came of it. Even the suggestion this topic has, still has randomness attached. It's not like we're saying, picking your opening hand should be allowed. Now that would be no fun.

Having one card less for every change could be a good deal, couldn't it?
