Well, I know that some parts of this thread might need to be in the Card Suggestions section, so feel free to move this thread.
Basically, what I want is some more statuses to the game, and change some abilities to statuses. There should be one status corresponding to one elemental symbol, and some other random statuses.
Immortal: Time symbol
The creature cannot be targeted.
Momentum: Gravity symbol
The creature will ignore most shields.
Poisoned: Death symbol + number
The creature takes N damage per turn.
Poison will cancel out Regeneration.
Regeneration: Life symbol + number
The creature will recover N HP per turn.
Vampirism: Dark symbol
Damage done by the creature is returned as healing.
Burrowed: Earth symbol
The ATK of the creature is halved, but the creature cannot be targeted.
Burrow is reversible.
Dived: Air symbol + number
For N turns, the creature's ATK is doubled.
There could be spells that can Dive a creature for 1 turn. If you use two diving spells on a creature, it will be dived for 2 turns instead of ATK being quadrupled. When a Dived creature is PUed, the clone will still have Dived for 1 turns, so Diving is no longer permanent and abusable.
Frozen: Water symbol + number
For N turns, the target creature cannot attack or use its ability.
Mutated: Entropy symbol
The creature will have random bonuses in ATK and HP, and it will have a random ability costing 1 or 2 of its element.
If you duplicate a Mutated creature, the clone will also be Mutated.
Divine: Light symbol
The creature cannot get any other status, but can still be targeted.
I'm still unsure about the status associated to Light, so suggestions are welcome.
Ethereal: Aether symbol
The creature is not treated as a creature, but it can still be targeted.
This could be used as a negative status, used to counter Empathic Bond spams and Skeleton spams and such.
For example, an Ethereal creature will not be accounted for Empathic Bond; when it dies, it will not account for Boneyard.
I am also unsure about this status.
Bloodboil: Fire symbol
Each turn, the creature's ATK is multiplied by 1.5; it dies after 2 turns. If the creature is targeted by anything, it dies instantly.
This status is still a "prototype", and needs a lot more balancing.
And then, there are the misc statuses such as Gravity Pull and Procrastination...
