I already wrote about that in my post willng3, guess you didn't notice it.

I like this idea. I've thought of it myself before. The way I'd like to see it implemented is like this:

Whenever you want to go on elements trainer, you need to type a nickname. Anything you want that isn't used by someone already on the trainer. It does not have to be in any way connected to the official elements. PvP and PvP2 should be removed as it already is, but the "PvP Duel" button would still be in trainer. If you clicked it in trainer, you would be able to type the nickname of the person you want to face (say a friend, to test the deck against or just to have fun, considering you would need to know their nickname) and then battle with no consequences to any accounts or anything. Another option would be to have a "Random PvP Duel" and duel a random person also on the trainer (keep in mind this does not connect with your real elements account in any way, I just thought this might be a pretty fun way to test decks against other specific decks or the like)

I did notice it, but seeing as how it hasn't been added to the OP (whether modified in or quoted) I figured that the idea was either still being considered or was rejected.  Also, I'm not sure about the reliability of this method because currently it is entirely possible to connect a game using only one correct IGN, but several times when the two IGNs do not match up there is considerable difficulty to try and start a game.  I think this could lead to the same problem:  When the connection attempt is one sided there seems to be complications for establishing a link between the two.  If this were the case then the servers would also need a reworking...which I am not in favor of due to their delicate nature already.

When a player enters their high-score the highscores list is updated with the name, highscore, and deck. The way the search will work is that a temporary domain (or account if you prefer) is given a nickname (user input) and the deck that the nickname is assigned to is stored to that nickname. At which point the deck is stored to that nickname at the same time. (i might have lost you here ;) but try and keep up) Then PvP goes as normal.

Yes we were clearly not on the same page but there is nothing about what you have said that I have not understood.  I have said nothing about randomly searching for an opponent because it would not function the same as PvP Duel (which is set against 1 specific opponent, again NOT random) - Which I have said from the very beginning and yet you have still not understood me.  You have also made no inclination to add that second part of your explanation to the OP so there was absolutely no way for me to assume that that was what you had intended to do all along.  However you do answer my question which I appreciate but you could have taken several different better approaches to enlighten me as to your intentions to avoid this "confusion" (which I still do not understand why it exists in the first place).  If there is still any reason you do not understand me and what I was concerned with from the beginning, then allow me to explain in the simplest way that I possibly can.
