I'm going to be an ass here, and demand my 50 electrum back, because I can. The game said I lost 50 electrum when playing it. Hell, I should argue for more. That was a painful experience, and is highly discouraging me from ever doing PvP again, or participating in any of the tournaments. This happened at about 6:30 Eastern time.

This is a very typical example of a desynchronization error, as evidenced by the red exclamation mark above telling you that it is a such an error. Please read the stickied topics first, and please post in the correct section (Bug Reports).

I know what the mark means. This occurred before the desync. Unfortunately, I didn't think to screenshot until afterward. But hey, now everyone can think I'm a n00b and don't know a hacking when I see it! He mutated his own fallen druid. (Don't forget about his little tip of a message before hand)

Tournaments are very anti-hacker. Few hackers will take the time to get thirty posts, and they can be stopped easily.

That said, someone with the same username as this appeared in chat the other day and complained heavily about a very old nerf. I'm led to think he attempted hacking as a means of revenge on the game, especially considering the comment he made. If he is a hacker, the game DOES have anti-hacker measures, and no game is entirely hacker-proof.

This guy has already been reported to me in PM, which is the right way to do it. Accusing people in public is not ethical in any way.

No hackers get into competitive PvP. As for the game itself, we have an automatic banfilter that gets them all, but it's not instant. If anyone slips through, Zanz can get 'em. That's about as hacker-proof as any game can get.

I only read the decks threads and the cards threads, so you can't assume that all users should "know" how to report hackers, or to know who to PM in the case of not publicizing it. I brought up tournaments because it creates a very annoying atmosphere, both with the hacking and the frustration of sifting through the bureaucracy of the administrators to find who to report. I always just publicize it, as it is the fastest route than trying to navigate the maze of authority . Anyway, faced him again and lost another 50 electrum. How does Zans handle the loss of electrum? That's 100 total now.

To be honest, whining about losing 100 electrum is comparable to whining about spilling a teaspoon of milk. ._. I ran into a hacker (probably the one you're talking about in this thread) yesterday too, but losing 50 electrum wasn't a big deal. I was surprised more than anything.

There's not much of an argument there.. Unless you're a new player, 100 electrum isn't a big deal. Certainly not a big enough deal to *demand* that Zanz reimburse you for it.

Anyway, before this possibly becomes an actual argument or even a flame war, I've said my piece and that's all there is to it.

No idea where you get your ideas; it has nothing to do with admins, nor do I "assume" anything. Your assumption that I did is only annoying. Not accusing people in the open is plain ol' common sense, which is why I said it's not ethical.

Similarly, tournaments have nothing to do with reporting cheaters or with admins. You're pretty confusing. I'm locking this as there's nothing left to argue, which means it's gonna get personal soon.
