Links to the old forum

I've made a list of elementsthegame.com web pages that link back to the old forums or chat room. The /rt and /dusk pages are dead because of older game clients, but the fewer links to the old forum the better.

I'll notify Zanz about these immediately. You'd think that it shouldn't matter, that people should know where the new forum is, and yet the old forum is still getting more traffic than the new one. Thanks for your help.

If so then the auto redirect from old forums links to new forums links should be kicked into effect?

Sometimes yes. However, one of the things is that the google search for something such as "Elementsthegame forum" will provide the old forums as the top link. An auto-redirect from the old to the new would fix most of the problems. So any new player looking for the forums is definitely going to get confused.

Wait isn't it possible because I remember when the Old (Before community) forums was changed, It used to redirect. I thought the same could be implemented from redirecting com to org?

They had the Admin's cooperation; we don't. Only Scaredgirl can set up any sort of redirect.

Nobody has been able to contact SG since last year. If we'd been able to contact her, we probably wouldn't have moved.
