Keyboard Shortcuts for Elements

Aside from space to end your turn, are there any other possible shortcuts for elements?

What if you could click 1-8 on your keyboard to play the designated card in your hand? Just a suggestion, for those who don't want to click the mouse all day...

If you are so inclined, you can keep hitting Tab until the card you want is highlighted, and hit Enter to play/use it.

and your keyboard is essentially a mirror of the playing field s-k for middle row, w-o for top row and z-, for bottom row.

or you could move them all up a row and use the bottom row of your keyboard for perms lol. haha well this is probably too far. but it could be fun

There's only one admin that has control over the game, the Lead Developer himself. Let's just wait patiently for him, he also has a job y'know. I know he has better plans like nerfing SoFo and such. And don't necro unnecessarily.

Yes I'm just another one who likes this idea. How about z x c to target your creatures skill, I play Lava golems so I would love that.

We could just press a key and then we could change the target with the arrow keys, though using mouse would be much-much faster. Anyway, the 1-8 card selecting suggestion is a very good one, especially for vanilla rushing decks.

Each side has 19 (perms) + 23 (creatures) + 8 (cards) as well as 12 quanta pools if they were to be target-able later. The only way I can think of a solution to this is using a special key to toggle opponent's side and your side. There's 36 numbers and letters, and with the rest of the random keys you can probably scrap out 14 more. Still overly complicated though.

Two possible alternatives to arrow keys - alt and ctrl modifying, and multi-step selection. No idea how they'd work in practice, but they sound cool in theory.

I know not all keyboards have the same layout, I'm basing this off a standard QWERTY keyboard with regular ctrl and alt keys. This could be modified to work with other layouts, I think.

Here's alt and ctrl modifying:


1-8: Select card from hand

If the card targets only creatures (i.e. adrenaline):
* alt+w - alt+o = creature in opponent's top row
* alt+s - alt+k = creature in opponent's middle row
* alt+z - alt+< = creature in opponent's bottom row

If the card also targets players (i.e. lightning):
* alt+\ = opponent

If the card targets permanents (i.e. explosion):
* alt+q - alt+o = opponent's perm in top row (u, i, and o are shield, weapon, and mark)
* alt+a - alt+k = opponent's perm in bottom row

In all cases, swap alt for ctrl when targeting yourself.

I just meant it would be faster for cards like Lava Destroyers not for SoF or explosion. And then I mean a targeting only on the first 5 or 8 slots.
