Issue with game..

Though addicting, elements is by the far the SLOWEST PACED game on the planet. Heres my routine in this game;
1.) seeing that i'm broke, i guess i have to challenge a cpu (which is horrifically boring and pointless due to the lack of reward)
2.) once i've got about 5 gold (or whatever the currency is called) i'll play a level 2, and loose 80% of the time.
3.) repeat steps 1 & 2 until i can accumulate 20 gold.
4.) fight a player online, and loose dramatically.
5.) cry about how i can never raise enough money to buy better cards.

Steps
1)Improve your deck/strategy
2)Play vs the highest level AI that you can win 50%+ of the time against.
3)Buy cards to improve your deck
4)Repeat steps 2&3 until you are ready for unupped pvp.
5)Get more money from grinding to upgrade cards

thanks, but i've still yet to beat a real player.
it seems that i've lost the coin toss each battle, and my hand fills up with costly monsters and spells, yet i have no pillars.
but i have ALOT of pillars in my deck.

The tutorials are super helpful, but I also suggest invoking the blessing of the RNG before every game.  It is the mystical entity that controls what you draw and when, the coin toss, and any other 'random' or 'chance' based events/effects.

Praying to the RNG alone doesn't work, I make monthly sacrifices and do at least an hour of latin chants.

Also, don't be disheartened, you are in very early game, which is hard. But once you make that small change to your deck, you get catapulted into mid game, which is the most fun part. You can pvp1 and fight real people quite soon after this.

I agree with you Voxen. The game is geared towards playing a certain way with certain cookie cutter decks and doesn't really allow for variation if you want to be successful. They tell you to visit the tutorials or get starter decks because you have to play a certain way. And now with the arena, which is garbage, there's absolutely zero options to create your own deck that you want to play. If you want to be competitive, you have to have certain decks or strategies. With a game that has so many options, there's very little variance that you can use and be successful. Just look at the arena for examples. Every deck has 6 of one kind of card or several cards. I've stopped playing because of the very strict conformity that's needed to progress.

After a quick analysis, my analyzer has concluded that this is 98% bullshit. Have fun missing out on a great game.
