Discard option available during your turn

I've come across situations where I've wanted to discard cards before the end of my turn, and I was wondering if it would be viable to implement discarding cards before the end of your turn.

This feature would be useful in situations where you'd like to draw additional cards (with an hourglass or sundial) and are willing to sacrifice cards in your already full hand.

(Currently, as of Oct 2009, drawing additional cards when you already have 8 cards in your hand will make you spend the mana, and the number of cards remaining in your deck will decrease.  However, these newly-drawn cards become invisible, unplayable, and sometimes discardable at the end of your turn).

No worries, it's a lot to read, but in fact this has been suggested before, as the invisible card bug has also been reported in the Pest Control section.
