In any PvP match that matters, I take screenshots at various points in the game (I have something called SnagIt that makes this very easy) to settle disputes. I encourage others to do the same.
I don't know how to take screenshots so it really not fair because I wouldn't be able to do events
PC: Print Screen
Mac: Command Shift 3 for the whole screen, Command shift 3 for a partial one.

I like this idea a lot, but how would it work ONLY for certain types of events Higs?

Kael's idea is pretty good, but it would have to be restricted somehow so only certain PvPO's can see them. Wouldn't be extremely difficult to do, but would require a lot of coding.

This. Are other humans really not trustworthy? Not that I am the member with the biggest PvP experience, but I have never seen anybody cheating, and I have never cheated myself, we are all gentlemen here.

Nope, they're not. However, the regular PvP'ers have been, in my experience. That's not the problem at all, though.

The problem is the PvP'ers themselves stirring up a shitstorm because their opponent's decks have been edited and were illegal before the edit. As 1140 has said,

I don't want to search any excuse, but I was not the only who broke that rule, so I suggest the organizer to evaluate how that rule is useful...

And, of course, by enjoy we mean cringe. There's virtually no end to problems like that. A stricter rule-keeping clearly upsets people as well, so there's -no- downside to using a different site.

One idea, is for spectator mode, allow a password for someone to be the moderator. That person can see both players hands at all times. The moderator would have to be trustworthy of course, otherwise deck info could leak out.

How it could be implemented:
Start a game, with the option *allow moderation*
If you choose  *allow moderation* you will be prompted for a password, create one you and the opponent agree on beforehand
Once you go to spectator mode, you have the option to *moderate game*
Only the first person to put in the password will be able to moderate, If it wasnt the predesignated person, you know there is a cheating attempt.

That moderator would also be able to view deck code at the end of the match to see if there was any cheating.
This now goes based on the values of the moderator for that game, however, i think it is a better way to do it.

The issue I have with this sort of match moderation is that it creates more potential problems than it solves. As soon as there is another person in the mix, ethical issues arise, especially when given the existence of IRC chat rooms and other third-party communication media. It would be very easy for someone to feed a player information, even with the whole password thing.
