Idea: The Nymph Day

So, back to the main topic.

The nymph a year event, I say it shouldn't go on, because people might miss that day, then they would start whining and that isn't very fun.

Maybe a day that makes all spins relics, so that FGs drop upped relics and others drop normal relics.
It would stop card farms for a day, but make that day non-stop electrum farming.

I dislike how much this would lower the rarity of nymphs. I take pride in my three blue, one black, and one red nymph. A nymph day would only lower the value of the already earned nymphs that for some players took months of visiting the oracle.

My 2 cents
Now we have two ways to get nymphs and marks(super rares), one is oracle(nymph only) and the other is tourny/league, where you can get both. It's a fair system imo, one gives you cards for logging every day, one for your skills. What we need-more super rares, maybe another 12-set. With this we get more diversity and more unique cards, EtG is a CCG so we need nearly unique cards to get, that are strong but not OP, nymph are good but they're fragile and marks are just quanta generators. What i think is that with top500 we'll get more rares that will actually be rare. Enough now, my opinion: NO

This was actually brought up within the last 24 hours in the Chat.  The short version: Basically, the game works because almost everything is random.  Removing that randomness in any way will be bad.  So, having a day where nymphs are guaranteed is bad.

Uhm, I see that this topic is rapidly getting lots of posts and most people seems to agree that there should be some kind of nymph-give-away day, or nymph-give-away FG, or any other nymph-give-away feast. It looks like a few of you are even serious, so, let me help you, I might be able to summarize with:

Especially for the nymph day, this is what will happen -for sure- if I would do something like that:
1. My gmail account will explode because of people that did not know about the nymph day and that now want their "day-after" nymph.
2. My gmail account will explode because of people that during the "nymph day" are on vacation, without internet connection, without electricity, targeted by pc viruses, grounded, dog eating hard disks, evil monkeys in the closet, underpants gnomes raids etc.
3. My gmail account will explode for reasons that I can not even foresee.
4. People that register for element the day after "nymph day" will hate my guts.
5. The database will explode because of thousands of accounts created that day.
6. The database will explode because of thousands of cheating attempts.
7. The database will explode for reasons that I can not even begin to comprehend.
8. The forum will be suddenly and mysteriously flooded with deck templates that contain a single purple nymph
9. Wait, didn't I create the nymphs to add rare, unusual cards that will promote deck variety in the first place?

In fact... you might expect more nymph-like cards in the future, cards that will do something that is already in the game, but in a different way. My goal is to have people actually creating their very own deck instead of everyone playing with the very same deck. That means that there is a price to pay: the chance that you will never get to have a specific card -ever- because it simply is too rare.

None of those points have anything to do with the above suggestion, but it also fails for several reasons, the most obvious being refreshing 100 times.

The whole point of nymphs is to be rare. Giving them away at set times devalues the rarity of them. Same thing with "hey guise we shud have the us mint make more moneyz and give us all 100 dolars kkcoolbainow" - sounds great, but makes no sense.
