What do you guys think of a mode that lets two players battle against one AI?  I think that given the mechanics for the current False Gods, it wouldn't be impossible, and I think it would be a lot of fun to play with a friend.

What do you guys think?

i have no idea how it could be implemented, but i think it could unbalance the game unfairly. 2 decks against a false god would create a buddy system, or even worse a piggyback system, which i find displeasing.

the other idea in your title though is quite cool though: a 2v2 match would be really fun, and open up new synergies between decks. that would be fun!

2v2 sounds VERY interesting.  Would it be 1 board & 1 HP pool per side?  Or could you knock out 1 & then it's 2v1?

If there was a 2vFG option it would have to be a stronger FG that can't be beat by 1 alone.

that's what i fear regarding fgs. maybe limiting to no upgrades versus false gods?

i hope that the 2v2 is one board, but this raises the questions:

-what of a 60 and a 30 card deck on the same side?
-what of miracle?
-shields?
-hordes? (wait, 46 critters is sexy.... hmmm)
-poison?
-a stall and a rush on the same side: does the stall cover the rush who tanks?

that last one could be a hell of a strategy, actually.

and that's not even getting into the health bar possibilities.

This game was made for 1v1. Historically, it has been shown that games made for 1v1 and played in teams are not going to be balanced. Also, instead of spending time to develop a 2v2 mod, I would much rather Zanzarino would add quests, customization in PvP or just plain and simple more cards and balance the current ones. The game is just too new and too shallow for this.

tl;dr: The idea is good, but the time is not.

2v2 would be amazing. I believe it should involve the 2 marks and 200HP. Having two decks would automatically create a double draw.

2 vs 2 has been suggested several times before, but as xdude mentioned before in theory it would take a very long time to code and risks imbalancing the game (thoguh 2vs2 would much more likely be a mode for fun rather than for actual competitive matches) when Zanz could easily add much more content such as The Trial, additional AI battles, the Arena, and more cards.

2 vs 1, 3 vs 1, and 4 Player Free-For-All share the same issues.

Perhaps maybe in a later patch, but not right now IMHO.
