In fact... you might expect more nymph-like cards in the future, cards that will do something that is already in the game, but in a different way. My goal is to have people actually creating their very own deck instead of everyone playing with the very same deck. That means that there is a price to pay: the chance that you will never get to have a specific card -ever- because it simply is too rare.
I love the idea zanz.
Not only does more rares that you cant get from t50 and so on just makes the vets keep coming back, its an evily clever system really, first you hook them with great game-play and soon the addiction sets in, MUST ROLL ORACLE I NEED ULTRA RARE CARDS.

It makes sense what he says too. I mean, what is a collectible card game without  some rares that gives you bragging rights to new players eh?

Cool. Thanks for letting us know that Elements will never be a game designed for people who like fair competition. Anyone interested in the PvP aspect of Elements might as well quit now since the developer has basically come out and said he doesn't care about PvP at all.

Wow, That was mean.

I took quite the opposite view on this. I feel zanz meant he wanted MORE diversity in the game play. And in any good game you play, The longer you play the better equipment/cards/levels you should have.

Really, If you could have every card right from the start, How would that be fair too those that have  played a long time?


I see this as a chance to PROMOTE more diversity, And makes perfect sense.

Sounds great. As is, some nymphs do make for effective decks and not everyone has them. But I would prefer if future "nymph-like" cards are cheaper to play (<9qt), yet still hard to obtain. If they are cheaper, they will be easier to implement in a deck. I also love the idea of receiving a reward for slaying enemies past the initial quest, an intricate quest system would make the game more interesting in the long term.

If you're incapable of seeing how what I said is productive than that's your fault, not mine. Please take your own advice.

As a game of strategy, if not all strategies are readily accessible to all players the game is not balanced. Imagine playing basketball except your team isn't allowed to pass the ball while the other can. That is essentially what Zanz has openly admitted he's willing to do to Elements.
Furthermore, I view Elements as a card game. Can you name any healthy card game with an active community where you can't just buy the cards you need for a deck from a secondary market? I bet you can't.
