I love the new pillar art.  Some are better than others, but overall I am happy with it.  As far as SoG costs.  Meh.

You can get a 5/3 Giant frog for 2 Quanta.  It will do 5 points of damage every turn, and can win the game all by itself.
You get a SoG for 3 Quanta.  It will heal 5 points of damage every turn, and cannot win the game all by itself.

I don't see SoG's as being overpowered at all.

The quantum pillar/tower art seems really out of place. I liked the old one. I don't know why, but they just seem so....simple, out of place, inartistic compared to the other new ones. I like the new ones, but I feel like before the pillars+towers seemed more on the same plane of art as the other cards, and now they're all like super-duper-artsy-fartsy and look so much prettier than the other cards that the other cards look worse than they should, or something, iunno, unicorns are pretty.

That has more to do with human kind than the internet. Internet just provides easier way for people to speak their mind, and its perfectly okay if someone doesnt like something and speaks his mind about it.

Well it's easier mainly because it allows people to be anonymous. I like most of the new pillar art although i'm not a big fan of the and pillars.

I personally really like the pillar art, but dislike the Tower version of that art.
It looks like a good painting, with a cheap plastic bag around it.

i agree with this. The quantum pillar/tower does not refelct what it do. It is a miracle tower with all the might of all elements in it. and not a simple black/grey tower with some small sparks on it.
It should be more colorfull, more mysticaly. A sparkling Tower in a dusk of rainbowcolor should be fine. but not such an black Tower witch look like a factory

Alle the other Arts are wonderfull, no metter, but please overthink the quantumpiller once more

Art is art and is all personal preference.

That being said, water and air are far too similar which makes for confusion and poor game play.

I partially agree with you. It seems that the new pillars/ towers art looks like a cartoon drawing. (example earth or quantum). On the other hand the old graphics looked to stiff and  much to similar. I think some of the symbols should have  stayed the way they were and only a part should have been changed.

I have a feeling this will change with time. In a few months lets find out what you think about this.
