Holy Light vs players

In the "Not a Bug" thread, I see it's intentional that Holy Light harms dark/death creatures but not players.  So, not a bug but still a flaw:  the problem is that this is not clear on the card.  It ought to specify target creature, not just "target".

And why exactly should decks with holy light be able to do upwards to 60 on the first turn against darkness or death ? Also, with shard of sacrifice this would be a near insta death, which i see as a bad thing.

Did you even read the first post? He is not saying the effect should be changed, only that the wording on the card should be changed to make it more clear.
