Seriously, trying to "earn" cards that can compete with the Level 3 decks is f- retarded.

Why is it the ONLY way to get cards anywhere near on par with the tier 3 decks is to play a ton of boring ass level 2 games and HOPE you get a random roll for something worth using?  It's hard to believe anyone would waste that much time playing the game with such a piss poor system for card distribution.   MAKE IT SO I CAN BUY A PHAROH.  MAKE IT SO I CAN BUY ONE OF THESE SUPER WEAPONS.  MAKE IT COST A TON, BUT LET US BUY THE GD CARDS.

I'm sick of playing s- f- games over and over, winning nearly every game, and being so completely limited in what I can purchase.  Even with decks comprised of the most expensive of cards you can purchase in every possible combination loses 2/3 games to the level 3 decks that have no fewer than 10 of these cards that can only be obtained through the random roll system.

I doubt I'll be playing this much unless something changes.  If I WANTED to wait for random loot drops I'd pay to play World of s- on my life Warcraft.

You should probably go check the deck help section. There is also a mentoring program for helping newer players get used to the game.

Sound like you need a better deck.  I can help you find one.  You don't need rares or expensive cars to beat AI3

Any of the recommended starter decks on Deck-Building 101 or any of the rushes in Turns to Win Study beat Elders around 80-90% of the time. I personally chose Speed Poison when I started. Took me two weeks to get all rares from T50, less to upgrade my first deck, and my second not long after. If that's too long for you, this game is not for you, but it's certainly easy to get all you need. All the resources are available on the forums and wiki.

Maybe you just need more practice. It really is not that hard to go through this game if you know how to do it.

This is your problem. You can't expect to win rare cards by playing the game a lot with random decks. You win rare cards by making a good deck that usually wins.

The tip of the year also applies here.

Sell some cards that you don't like and/or don't use in your deck for electrum, and use it to buy cards you want to use.

Also, keeping your deck as close to 30 cards as possible will help make your draws more consistent and your games run more smoothly.

I empathize with you here. When I first started it took me almost a week to be able to consistently beat level 3. (that was one crappy deck lol) then when I found the forums, I used the decks that they posted and they worked like a charm
Try it yourself! You'll see how awesome they are. And there are plenty without rare cards, like pharaoh or weapons.

Here's a noob story to put your spirits up:
When I was still a new player, it took me a day to figure out that you can edit your deck. Yea, it's true. I was that noob.

Naw, I agree with him.  There's a serious imbalance in this game when just starting out.

The main problem I've seen when restarting my alt (I do so regularly to keep fresh perspective), you can't make any deck you want.  Certain deck builds simply don't work.  That'll get solved as new cards are added, but for right now, a new guy who's favorite play style is say, heal until they lose, can't possibly win.  The solution isn't to change their deck, everyone has a preferred style.  Unfortunately, until more cards are added, new players who don't enjoy select playstyles won't enjoy the game.

Secondly: as you've discovered, lots of players are willing to help newbies, and there are lots of tutorials that explain things and guide you to better playing and deckbuilding. You've probably just come here to vent your frustrations, but you should listen to what they have to say.

I don't think you have the patience for the game.

It is possible to make an anti ai3 deck, even if not upgraded. Relax, look around. You're in this game for the long run, if you're into it.

I agree! Players in pvp use cards what have no strategy. They are idiots who wait to get quanta than kill with a fireball. They dont like to think or play.
Pc lvl 3 to difficult. Lvl 2 not enough cash.
Oracle dont give you things. i gained 20 cash and nothing else from him.
Starting is boering, and anoying!
Deck is bad??? Sorry! I cant get cash for a better!
