Get rid of "uber" rarity for marks.

Guys, let's try settle this calmly. No really, I see little steam marks rising above certain user's heads right now.
Uppercut, marks are NOT gameplay superior, because there are these even better cards called towers that give you free quanta right off the bat.  Winning marks from a tournament is just for "bragging rights" more than anything else, and should not affect how you play the game.  Your argument is honestly very pointless and not convincing anyone.  I am not trying to offend you at all, but marks have no reason to to added to the actual metagame and should just be left as a prize.

Seeing as you've apparently played in many more tournaments than I have and I still don't see any trophies by your name that says more about you than me. I said a few because really I meant a few.  I have classes on Saturday, I can't play in many tournaments.

Moral of the story. If marks were actually powerful enough to create a gap in decks, then they would be more accessible.

No it doesn't. My argument isn't based on marks being must have cards, my argument is based on them being inaccessible cards that aren't the same as other cards. Any time any effect is only available to people who've already won a tournament its a bad thing and it discourages new users.

Your argument is sadly invalid.  Marks are the same as pillars and are inferrior to towers.  Also it seems that you do not want to resolve this argument calmly, as you disregarded my post and started cursing and whining as well.  I don't have the time to play tourneys either due to my life - do you see me complaining?  And trophies are for the actualy winner - being in a tournament is different than winning it.  Winning means that you put a lot of effort into your deck, and were a good sport.  The true winners of any competition are the ones that have good attitude.

I strongly recommend to have a topic lock posted here if possible before this argument goes out of control.

Did you also somehow not know marks can be targeted by nymphs tears and EQ like a pillar?  Did you also not know there are 2 kinds of pendulums, pillars, and towers therefore at least 2 max 4 other possible "splits" to quanta generation?  Lastly, do you realize that almost no one is siding with you?

That doesn't change the point at all? They're not the same because they divide your quanta sources meaning it acts differently against 2 cards;  5 cards if you count the fact that if it matches the mark you start with they become untargetable, and 8 cards if you count targeting them yourself.

Having a mark card in your deck does not change your, or anyone elses, strategy because the impact of a mark card is so insignificant. This does not discourage new users at all because half the time, they don't even know of their existence. And when they do, most of them either misunderstand the concept of them, or shrug them off. I've seen several new players put down mark cards because they'd rather have a more useful card, especially when they learn that upgraded marks will not stack with your own mark.

Another valid point made there.  Upgraded marks don't even stack.  I also told you Uppercut that you can use a combination of Pillars, Towers, and Pendulums to spilt your quanta generation into 4 differrent stacks.  Again, invalid argument.  You need a good reason to convince me why a mark should be a metagame card rather than a reward.

And... I assume that one instance is you?  I'll give you this, Reginald Roses wrote in Twelve Angry Men, "It takes a great deal of courage to stand alone."  However, just because you stand alone doesn't mean you change things for the better.

If marks would have an adverse effect in a specific tournament the TO's simply ban them for that tournament.
