Removing a creature's skill is always a positive thing in my book. However, I believe Lobo isn't splashed more because the damage is pathetic and it is much more used because of the skill. The skill of Lobotomizer is not that good. People would most definitely use Lobotomizer more if its damage was raised . Therefore, in my opinion Lobotomizer isn't used has much because the damage is pathetic.

The only reason I use lobotomizer in any deck I use is specifically to remove creature skills and creature skills only. I do not care about the damage. If my deck was a rush, I would probably use lightning instead, because those are faster. In more stall decks, I would consider using both.

Another important benefit that lobo offers, particularly in thin, 30-card decks, is you would generally only use 2 card slots to incorporate it into the build, rather than probably a minimum of 4 to incorporate lightning bolts.

I see your point but since the card is about the effect and not the damage, what is to stop me from using a mind flayer? I can fit it into a deck much easier and it saves me from using my weapon slot so it allows for me to use a different weapon, like discord.

Thus, there are better options, like Discord, that you've said yourself. Thus, this argument is useless, as you contradicted yourself plentily now.
