After all if we buff them why should we collect rare weapons.
If they were on par with Rare Weapons then people would still collect rare weapons as a challenge, for completion or for the same reason people don't all play the same element.
Yes ,but i am sure if this was happenning they will be overpowered because they are suitable for decks who uses different quanta, and i am sure that all are going to complain about rare weapons needs buff...(That is what i think)

Comparison time! Not bothering with upped versions since upped versions seem balanced to me. (going to assume mark benefits since that is how you should use them)

-snip-

I'd say besides stiletto and arsenic, these weapons are fine compared to rare weapons. They offer a much cheaper alternative for getting out damage earlier in exchange for the abilities of the rare weapon. Short sword is in a lot of unupped rushes. Same with bow/hammer in earth/gravity/air rainbow decks. The problem is that dirk seems to be merely a crutch for a player until they receive an arsenic or stiletto.
Balance is a transitive binary relation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transitive_relation)

(Logic keywords look better in caps)
IF "A is balanced relative to B" AND "B is balanced relative to C" THEN "A is balanced relative to C"

Apply this detail to you conclusion.

The buff i would like to see is making the abilities of the flying versions of these weapons passive, so that they can benefit from luciferin/luciferase, which would synergize nicely, as it is another neutral quantum card.

Also flying glowing swords would just be cool.

Making their bonus damage passive also makes it so you can't lobo them, and makes it easier to use them with Overdrive or BE (Dagger) or Liquid Shadow

Random idea for Dagger: make it a main gauche. Same stats, but costs 1 :rainbow and is placed in the shield slot. Unsure if it should cost more if it could parry (Block enemy weapon's attack, most likely with percentage). Only downside is it takes away DirP
