You guys are way to whiney about this "waaaah there is a 100 coin fee to switch decks." You're forgetting that every other aspect of this game is directed toward working for your goals; the 1,500 fee for upgrades, the low coin income... the metamorphoses cost just makes your goals that much harder to achieve, which makes them that much better in the end.
So some people think a game should be changed in some way, you disagree with it and therefore those people are whining?  If you disagree with something posted here, that's fine, no skin off my nose, but do try to give others the same respect and regard you'd want them to have when reading your own ideas and posts.

I'm trying to keep an open mind here.  So let me ask you, what does it add to the game to make metamorphosis cost 100?  There seems to be a strong inclination to make players grind in this game, sort of like RPGs.  The designer wants a progression from bad cards to better cards, and the game seems designed around this.  But what does making it harder to try new decks add to the game?

Those of you that like it, if you can explain what it adds, you might turn us around on this.  Just put it in a positive way, of "I like it because of X", rather than "100 isn't that much" which really means "it's bad but not very bad".

Thanks

Now what would be a cool solution would be that when you change from one element to another would be if you could change back to the other for no cost, this would allow players to spend 100 per key element one time and one time only instead of every time a new deck is used.

I don't agree making it free, but I would like it lowered. Around 25-50 would be good IMO.

It should be free till your have a certain amount of points to let new people try out different element types and decided on the one they want.

But i think there is a reason why it cost so much to change.
There is button named Reset Accounter =P

I was thinking earlier today: what if marks were cards?

If you could only have one mark card (purchasable for 100e, say) and you put it in your deck when you built it - it has no effect on your card number - and if you don't, then you either can't leave the deck planner or you mark is like a quantum pillar - 3 random quanta.

How's about it?

There's really no reason to change colors more than once. Just start with FFQ and keep on playing until you have enough upgrades for a really good Aether deck. If metamorphosis was free then people would keep on experimenting and making different decks instead of sticking with these two, or at least the proper official decks in the Elements Wiki. It would take all the fun out of the game.

If we have to have an extra feature, please can we have autoplay? You just tell the AI that you're playing FFQ, and it would roll the random number generator and tell you how much you've won. This would save a lot of time and let us make a really good Aether deck much faster.
They are in no way 'official' -- they're just decks people have put up on it. As far as I know, there are no 'official' decks (apart from maybe the starters)

The rule should be that after you complete your 500 rare quest that switching Metamorphosis doesn't become free anymore.  This allows for new players to freely play around with decks without having to restart all the time.  If you ever want to become good you'll have to get past the 500 quest which means you have a price to pay: 100 gold each switch.  A player who passes that quests should expect some hard work, so 100 gold is a fine amount to pay to switch.

The more expensive you make metamorphosis, the more you discourage people from experimenting. If people can't afford to experiment they will stick to a variation of a deck which has been shown to work. Honestly, wouldn't it be better to have people trying different decks and different variations? Or would you rather have them just grind away between FFQ and Aether?

How about just making one day a week "Metamorphosis Day" -- like Sundays? For 24 hours, you can change your element as often as you want for free, but when Monday rolls around, it's back to paying for it for the week...
That could be interesting, but how about instead we have "Metamorphosis hour" the hour would be random so people around the globe could participate of course.
