ok I made a bad example with Sundial ( I thought so, to be honest)

but your example of sundial doesn't apply to most decks and most players as well. As you have said, normal strategies do not favour drawing the same card all the time.

AS long as the average game play is considered, slightly adjusting the deck randomization won't hurt.

I'm not suggesting a big change here, maybe just a small change, like if 6 cards of same nature (e.g. all creatures) are stacked together, insert one non-creature card between those 6, giving you an opportunity to get other cards other than dead creature cards

I think everyone appreciates what your saying, but your completely off the mark with how the game should be played.

Answer this, why should someone be rewarded as a priority a majority of the time (if you change the randomization) for making an unbalanced deck?

Shouldn't Zanz" fix the system so that it avoids cards of the same nature from stacking together in the deck ?

So you won't get 10 pillars in a row, you won't draw all creatures at the start
This is breaking it. Not fixing it. If you build your deck right, then this will rarely happen. If you build it wrong, then you deserve to have it happen.

I see your point but I don't think comparing a digital game with real life game is fair
Yes it is since this is a card game, and card games, even flash based, are based off of the concept of card games in real life.

I know it seems bad but you have to deal with it. Removing luck will push the game to one reliant only on skill, which punishs the a erage player, not rewards them. Even if its only extreme cases, it will begin to push the ga,e in that direction. Card games require luck, if you want something skill based try something else

Well, with everything above being said, i have nothing more to say.
Basically, yes, that's just an extreme bad luck.

However, i got a suggestion. Auto-Mulligan should also happen if you get an opening hand of all pillars. (the complete opposite of current Mulligan)
So is would happen either when there's no 0 cost card in hand or no non-0 cost card in hand. (either way, will always happen just once)

I just want to point out as someone talked about MTG and its' mulligan system.

MTG also have accepted tournament rules that allows you to shuffle so you end up with a land (pillar-like) per two cards (Not anything more specific than that however!), which I could see being of use. However, I don't see this essential, and if you're having problems with this, try a 30-card deck.
