Fate Egg in the right place? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=26457.msg336462#msg336462

I noticed how Fate Egg has the ability to turn into a Random Creature yet its time...

Random = Entropy?

I am curious if Fate Egg should be   :entropy instead of   :time...

Do You Agree? Disagree? Post Here!

(I am gonna get a lot of hate from  :time users)

Well, you could look at it like this:

A egg hatches and ages until he is full grown. That's got to due with Time.

Not all random concepts/cards should belong to Entropy. Time is unpredictable as it moves foward - you don't know if what the Fate Egg will hatch into similar to how you don't know what the future brings.

Also, a suggestion like this would probably belong in the "Buff this Card!" section of the forum.

well I can see your point but eggs need time to grow into that random creature.

p.s. I am not a time user.

Well, a Fate Egg has no real randomness:
If there´s a dragon in the egg, only a dragon can hatch (and not another creature).
The player is only" too stupid" to see the creature in the egg.
I don´t know how things like Photons , another egg, or mammals like Pegasus can come out of eggs, but I think, that´s the magic of Elements .
Growing inside of an egg and hatching is a process over time, so the Egg is  :time.
That´s my view of it.

I'll just say I hate how everybody tries to convert Entropy into a solely luck-based Element. I mean, not EVERY SINGLE RANDOM THING has to be Entropy in this game. To fair, that'd mean DRAWING CARDS should be Entropy. But that's idea's just ridiculous, correct?

I also agree with you. I'm getting sick of people who is too strict on "randomness should always be entropy" thing. Just think about it this way: If people are strict to the "element main ability", then ALL normal creatures (creatures without ability, such as Blue Crawler) should always be classified as OTHER instead. For me every creature in EVERY Trading Card Game doesn't have to possess something related to their respective element, but more based on how they look instead.
My idealized elements cycle:
Water -> Fire -> Air -> Earth -> Lightning -> Metal -> Light -> Darkness -> Wood -> Water
