Event Cards

Hey!
I was just thinking...
   Wouldn't it be cool to have small events on holidays such as Xmas or Halloween? There could be special limited time false gods with new card that can only be won through the event period (3 days?).

After the event ends maybe the cards could stay, the new FGs would be gone, and the won cards would turn into relics in the spinners (the players that already have then can keep them). Anyways just my thoughts, thx for reading through this wall of text .

Sounds great to me. Rares that can only be won on their respective holiday.

These rares have to be like accessories. Nothing like nymphs or squids or pharoahs, on which you can base a deck, because that would be unfair otherwise to people that don't or can't play on those days. They should have fun(ny) skills, such as

For Halloween, we could use Scaredgirl's Black Cat (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6324.0.html).

For Christmas:

Sacrifice Snowball to deal 1 damage to target creature with a 50% chance to freeze it. Generate a Snowball on the opponent's field.

Like Holy Cow (April Fool's). Yeah it wouldn't hurt Event Cards every holiday, like in Snowy days you have more chances to win Artic Squid from Neptune... or Halloween you have more chances to win a Pharaoh from Osiris, and for the Oracle "Chinese National Day" ( October 1) you have more chances to win rares from Oracle

Sort of don't like the idea of having limited edition cards unless they only acted as novelty cards like the Holy Cow. If they were even remotely useful, people who joined at later dates may feel bitter and would be disinclined to play.

Holy Cow was a genius move.
I only wished I got to keep the card instead of using it as a pet. I'd probably even upgrade it, since then it would be mega-rare.

I love this idea, I love useless cards. Elements needs both more filler cards and rares. While these will never be taken seriously I still want them, Now!

nice idea. but how about they are cards, that already exist, but just look different (different name and different artwork).

for example at christmas, there could be  cards like the snowball, thats just an ice bolt. fate egg could be a gift and so on. at halloween, skellettons could be angry pumkins and the graveyard a pumkin farm. on st pattys day, there are only rare life cards of course^^

you can only win these cards during hollydays, they show as relics in the slot machine and they are rare. but since tey have no new mechanics, people that cant play on hollydays arent at a disadvantage.

i wouldnt like these holliday cards to be useless, because nobody would ever use them in a serious match. you would just have them lying around, rotting in your reserve.

Only if they are sincere....but then we would need a "Great Pumpkin" card.

Well, I like the idea of keeping the card as to losing it after the event, it'll encourge people to stay WITH the game as to feeling discouraged. It doesn't even have to be a new card, I would be satisfied with a red vampire on halloween, or a painted Fate egg for easter
