As there is currently no way to make money other than grinding, I thought it would be cool if there was an 'Endless Mode'. In Endless Mode, there is an unbeatable AI (Level is selected by the player) where the amount of damage caused to it affects your reward in Electrum. Each level would have it's own multiplier. For example:

Level 3: Reward = Damage Dealt / 10
Level 4: Reward = Damage Dealt / 5
Level 5: Reward = Damage Dealt / 2

Let's say I dealt 400 damage to a level 3 before dying. I would get 40 Electrum from that. If I dealt 350 damage to a level 5 opponent, I would get 70. If I dealt 200 damage to a level 5, then my reward would be 100 Electrum.

This is only an idea, but I thought it would add a bit more for the high-end players to do.

Not entirely sure on how you could avoid running out of cards :/

This is a good way to keep playing, as long as the reward is slightly higher than the normal AI. Promotes stall decks and deckouters.

I am fully supportive of this; as you said, it gives veterans another thing to do. Maybe have this mode unlockable or something at a certain level, or cost a certain amount of electrum to unlock?

I'd enter level 3/4 with Dimshield, Fractal, SoPa, and BoL's. And then I'd get out of there with billions.

Good idea but too easily exploited with decks that would focus on fast, high damage?

The "Endless" part is on the right track, but encouraging stall grinding isn't gonna work. The very first thing that killed the fun is that you can use your own cardpool to play. Why not break the ground and force you to use a (large) bunch of random cards to make a deck and fight progressively stronger AIs? Being endless is not the main thing, instead, make the fun endless. Every play on the mode should give a different experience, so that veterans could play endlessly.

The concept of perpetual fun (which can be done by randomness) could be useful. A sandbox mode without random elements is just repetitive grinding.

The focus of the game (minus community programmes) should not be "making money" or "making score" at the first place, though. "Collecting cards" is okay but it wears out soon for cards so easily obtained like in elements.

It's good to see someone suggesting new game modes.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

One thing that I just thought about is decking out. Maybe make it so that used cards are recyclable? I don't know.

Not sure if it would end grinding.

1. If it ain't broke, don't wreck it.
2. Simple fixes for simple problems.
3. Remember to fill in the holes.

The gains would need to be scaled down so it gets progressively less as it goes on. It's not that hard to completely lock down an opponent and just sit there milking coins.

Perhaps every 5 or 10 turns the Level 3 and up gets a bonus effect based on their deck? Graviton could have all creatures Momentumed one turn, Lionheart could be get a mass RT for one turn, that sort of thing.
