Game Suggestion: Weekly Quest https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=11849.msg146104#msg146104
« on: August 25, 2010, 07:02:25 am »
How about adding a Quest to elements, that can be competed in weekly...

just like

-collect 50 unupped shards
-win 5 rares
-beat at least 300 ai2 /100 ai3/ 60 ai5/ 25 FGs
-spin the oracle everyday
-win 75 cards from spins
-win at least 25 PvP matches
-win 5 PVP-matches with air mark

etc.

as reward electronum could be given.

Even better idea: more permanent Quest that are available after you chose your rare weapon like:

-collect 2 nymphs (reward another nymph of your choice)
-upgrade your first card (reward 1500 electronum)
-win 1000 times (reward 3000 electronum)
-win 5000 Times (reward 8000 electronum)
-achieve a reward code (1 free upgrade)

and so on.

I think this could drasticly increase the number of people playing elements over time.

In Addition there should be a market for relicts. Trade 10 relics against 300 electronum and 50 against 2k, trade 100 against a rare, 150 for a shard, 900 for a nymph and 1000 for a mark. Something like that.

/EDIT: Upgrading and selling relics for electronum should be disabled then.

First, you need to learn to spell our currency : electrum. :P

i think this is a wonderful idea. the game gets really boring after the last quest, and these could create more long-term players.

if permanent quests are added though, people are still gonna complain cuz after the very last quest, they will be like "now what?" just like people do now.

however, weekly quests, maybe even changing weekly quests, could be fun.

I really like the idea of some sort of new goal/reward being established by the game. Especially if the reward was a random card (chosen from all available cards, or maybe excluding pillars). 7 oracle spins per week at (is it 1/12 chance?) would still be the most common way to win Nymphs, but people are always clamoring for another way, and completing a quest for a single random card would satisfy that while making them barely more common, if at all.

But regardless of the reward, I am extremely in favor of some sort of weekly quest!

your ideas are very good IMO

there would be a sense of playing ai5/ai2

here's some more idea:
- collect all unupgraded cards from one element
- collect all unupgraded cards (without nymphs)
- collect all upgraded cards (mark or nymph as a reward?)

even though, its stupid that last quest is about getting 500 score -.-
after some time it's like playing 4 fg
i would like to get some free upgrade rewards for getting more and more score 10000/25000/50000...
it is boring that my last quest is getting all cards upgraded and even that i will not be given any reward

If you DO make a weekly quest though, it might be better if nobody's is the same.
Imagine every person needing to win in PVP with an Air mark =O.

I would like the idea of more quests with even more significant rewards, so score grinding (or whatever grinding) is much more fun since you have a goal (setting a goal myself is boring since it doesn't get me a reward :P).

Good additions, i like them. I although thought about score quest like "score at least 1000 score in 1 week" (reward: 500 electronum, +15% score earned during this week) for example.

You relic price is broken, the real price is 65, rares sells for around 140, nymphs sells for 909, and whaa? 150 for shards?
