'Duo-Mark' Specialization. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=366.msg3057#msg3057

I've seen it in other games.  Perhaps most notably World of Warcraft.  The idea 'Duo-mark' specialization would be to give the option to allow players to pay a large amount of gold as an investment that would save them gold in the long run.  In this case it would be to allow them to change between to chosen marks without cost.  An example would be as follows.

  • I pay a one-time fee of 2'500 gold and choose Time, and Entropy.
  • I can then change my mark from time to entropy or form entropy to time without cost.
  • Changing between any other two elements still costs 100 gold (even fire to time or fire to entropy, for example)
So after 25 changes (25 X 100 = 2'500) I would start to save some gold.

Idon´t see it as complicating things as scaredgirl says. But why not just give the option to bye a mark for 2500 period. you can buy all at the end no need for only duo. Doesn´t really matter to me since  changing mark only costs me one game.

Haha, this seems like a great idea, but maybe you could only do it with two marks at a time, so you couldn't do it with all the marks?

I don't know.. I just find it would make the game more complicated, in a bad way.

I don't see any problems with mark system as it is, so why change it?

This got me thinking...what if we were allowed two marks? Either, two of the same, or two different. Not only would this improve the usefulness of duo-/tri-Element decks, but it would also make mono-decks even better. Just a thought. I'm too tired to think of the downsides of it. =/

That would be the idea.

You'd save in the long run- unless you enjoy using the trainer :)

You will have trouble if ever you try to make money in the stock market.

You can think of it, if you insist, as pay '25 games' now and never have to pay 'one game' again.
