How about if you spend XXX Electrum, you get a random pet for 3 games. This would keep you from being able to just buy a dragon for every game you play, but would still be worth it for those that have a ton of extra electrum.

While I'd like to see an option to get another pet, just buying one feels somewhat flat and boring. Instead, I'd like to get a pet gifted by an elements master (or half bloods or something) IN EXCHANGE for my loyalty to them. The latter then might be realized by accomplishing quests for such an element master. Or whatever you guys might come up with.

The point is, that it's a little bit sad, that you can have something "special" like this only once a day from the oracle (without any real investment whatsoever). Instead, there should be a constant *flow* of such events and gratifications (which of course need to be earned). But again, just buying stuff with electrum isn't half the thrill of a good game-flow. I can guarantee you this.

I would like Rpg elements in Elements.
One year ago I wanted something like unlocking double or triple mark trough quest or so.
However any advantage gained this way shouldn't appear when fighting against other player!

Unlock/upgrade:
size of the deck
x2 or x3 mark
a pet (only unlock trough quest; you can change it from deck GUI, like the mark)

Well, I figure there could be distinct singleplayer (vs. AI) and pvp "quests". Though I was thinking more about singleplayer ones. And also the effects or bonuses wouldn't stack over time (just like pets can be used only three times for example).

i think pets should be semi permanent, like you have a stable with 3 spaces, oracle only gives you a pet if you have empty space. you can upgrade your pet, you can give your pet extra statuses, like adrenaline, momentum, quintessence. pets are selected from a specialized list. maybe one or two from each element.

upgrades are really expensive, like ten times the cost of the card or more, quintessence should be like 15K.
you can only use them in pvp 2 or possibly the arranged matches as an option so you can show off to each other.
you should be able to get a 'bonus' from each element, blessing from light, etc.

If die when killed It's worth using them only if momentumed and quinted...

Some other effects could be passive slight improvement like
Light aura;you and your creature have a 1xlvlskill% chance to gain 1life per turn
Fire aura;you have a 1xlvlskill% chance to inflict 1 damage to your opponent or one of his creatures
Entropy aura;you have a 1xlvlskill% chance to gain 4 random quanta
Time aura;you have a 1xlvlskill% chance to draw a card
Aether aura;you have a 1xlvlskill% chance to silence your opponent
Life aura;your creatures have a 1xlvlskill% chance to gain andrenaline
Air aura;your creatures have a 1xlvlskill% chance to dive
Dark aura;you have a 1xlvlskill% chance to steal a permanent
Etc etc..

Well i think that idea was not bad but gives a lot of starting power with 12 ,10 attack , some spowning power etc.

As a new player i think that game is not hard that much to give so meny starting advantige, cuz with reading good and helping posts(i must say that i founded a lot of them ) you can make a lot of upgraded cards just like i did in 1 week max . There are people that give help on top 50 list too so maybe this is too much atm.

This is just a random idea I had after thinking about what to do after I upgraded all of my cards and had a full set.

With all that extra electrum you could go to "petco" and "buy" a pet. Which is basically buying a card from the bazaar, but you get it as an oracle pet instead (without the oracle spin)

Now there'd be sever nerfbatting on this, like make it x5 the cost of the bazaar value.

I thought this idea before, too. It will get more advantage to players against FG. 8)

cool idea~ but unfortunately in Elements so many CC spell can mutilate your lovely precious pet with dirty cheap cost.
Those little creature you mentioned can make no big different against FG but large different to PVP.
Or make PVP no pet will be also good.
It's fun, but I'm not sure this will be what game designer want, Pokemon Elements

pets would only be in unranked pvp, where you go against a specific players, so you can 'show off' your pet, but they would not be in pvp1 or pvp2 where the matches are ranked.
