Do you have or is there a way to have Booster tourneys? I come from the mtg community, And really enjoyed the booster tourneys.

Can it be done and do others want it?

What do you mean booster tournament? You mean tournaments with rewards? If so, we already have them.

I believe he's talking about things like Booster Draft and Sealed Deck.

While these are possible, it would be very time consuming for both the organizers and the players themselves.

The closest thing that we can feasibly have to this is a Sealed Deck tournament, but with the same card pool (number and types of cards chosen by tournament organizers) for each player.

From what I can gather from the conversation and the limited information on Wikipedia, it's a type of tourney in which the players are given a random set of cards of which they divide between themselves and have to build into the decks they will fight against with?

Correct. You start a tourney with (in MTG it's booster packs) a set amount of random cards. (every player) and then you have a time limit in which to make a dec.

Very fun. Making a dec work, With random cards, Is both challenging and amusing!

Booster Draft = Each player opens up a booster pack of cards, takes one card of their choice from the pack without showing anyone, then passes the pack to the next person and receiving a different pack in the process. Then the process of picking and passing repeats until no cards are left in the pack, in which the players open a second pack and repeat the process (and also third/fourth/fifth, etc. packs as necessary). Players build decks using the cards they drafted, plus basic resource cards.

Sealed Deck = Each player receives a randomized selection (with a set amount of cards from each rarity) of cards (i.e. a Vault that they aren't allowed to choose beforehand) and build decks with these cards and basic resource cards. Kind of like War, but without the "choose your vault" and discard/salvage parts.
