Damage potential bar https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=21503.msg275123#msg275123

I don't know if this was suggested before, if it has, forgive me. It's kind of an obvious one that many of you probably noticed; the damage potential bar not taking many things into account, such as Antimatter, Momentum, Shields, etc. This is sometimes the difference between a win or loss, because people would easily get careless and be surprised by that momentumed 24/21 Druid, or whatever. Also:

Oh there's loads of issues with the damage bar.  Shields such as Phase Shield continuing to display damage dealt, AM not functioning properly with it, Momentum and shields, Sundial, weapons placed in the weapon slot which failed to deal damage last turn not showing up as damage on the next, Gravity Pull, and Adrenaline are all of the ones I can think of off the top of my head.  It really does make the damage display rather pointless oftentimes.  A fix would make it so that it would actually be relied on more readily than before and it's a greater tool for newer players...it really needs a revamp.
-will

Please do give the damage potential bar a fix Zanz. :)

I guess people using their brain once in a while is too much...
If it's already going to be complained about, why not reduce it with AM also.

Hey, there's just so much to do at one time. Multitasking tend to make you slightly distracted. This is a suggestion, and it is a rightful one. If you have a problem with it, then please don't say anything about it.

I thought zanz fixed the momentum problem, I run a CCYB variant with momentum, and against Morte and it tells the proper damage...

Oh wait, I think that's the bonewall problem that never displays right either. Yeah, there's a lot to be fixed with the damage potential bar.
It would be cool if it counted the creatures for the bonewall and dissipation shield and calculated which creature would start hitting.

The issue isnt using brains. Like plan plans deck image showing cost, if it isnt going to do it right, then dont do it. If you are going to do it though, do it right.

If I am right, Dim Shield just gives a 100% miss chance. That's why the yellow bar appears.

While this is true, it doesn't change the fact that it's still confusing to newer players.  Although it does make much less sense for the same type of scenario to apply to Bone Wall...

and throwing in momentumed creatures adds to the confusion since that makes part of the bar true.
