Daily Auto Tournaments

What would take elements to the next level, without changing a thing, would be an automated cycling tournament system as seen in Urban Rivals. The gameplay pales next to Elements, but the ability to constantly enter tournaments and win prizes is a huge attraction. People LOVE War, the weekly tournaments, etc etc... but it's hard to make time for the weekly and even harder to get involved with War. I have taken some time off from playing, but upon coming back, this is what I feel is most lacking in my current Elements experience.

Could start with Daily, or each 6 hours ... then go from there as people get addicted.

I've been pushing for this sort of thing for awhile (and even put it in my signature recently :p) but it doesn't seem to get much support, least of all from Zanz.  There's another similar online game I play (which I won't name for competitive reasons) that has an in-game supported tournament system.  It's got both free tourneys (just for fun) and paid tourneys (real cash, obviously not the model we want here, though) with prizes.  Also, they have weekly automatic ingame free tourneys where you can win prizes as well.

Coding it would probably be a bunch of work, but it's definitely possible.  Making a banlist for the tourney each week should be dead simple, but the rest of it would take a huge time investment to code.  If people were worried that this might devalue ultra-rare cards, a gold entry fee could be implemented so you couldn't just keep playing until you win.  There would still be a few things to work out (like preventing someone from making 16 accounts and entering a tournament with all of them for a guaranteed win) but I'd imagine it could be done.

I would love this, and I think it would help bring good players into the community.  An electrum prize would be a good start until all the kinks are worked out, after that a one nymph/mark code would be great for getting people into this tourney.
