I always feel strange when weapons protected by an "Enchant Artifact" are not Immortals on the board, like Morning Glory is.

Any chance this behavior changes ?

I don´t think this 2 - year old card behaviour will soon change. Morning Star/Glory is immortal without artifact, so also the flying version.
