I don't see an elite phase dragon running away from a syringe like a rabbit, do you?  :P

I would like it if you couldn't SPECIFICALLY target immaterial creatures, but effects like plague and rain of fire would still deal damage to them.

I'd like if immortal creatures had some counter in general..

Pay X amount of HP to remove the Immaterial effect from a creature.

Or something like that. maybe X is the cost of the creature times 5 or something.

I see the syringe passing through harmlessly and doing nothing.

Also, you can't point any sort of thing at the immaterials. Nothing. Unless you are in the same dimension as them. Point at the ceiling lamp while holding your arm horizontally. Impossible until you clamber on your table.

Phase Shift: Permanent (8 Aether)
As long as this permanent is in play, all Immortal creatures are targetable and all non-Immortal creatures are untargetable.
Re-shift (0 Aether): The effect of Phase Shift is temporarily cancelled for this turn.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I think it's quite.. useless to only give aether a way to counter himself. It's like if death had feral bonds to counter his own poison.

There are other benefits to being able to target your own creatures, like granting blessings and so forth.  I kind of like the idea of being able to shift in and out of "phases".
