You guys are forgetting that without Rainbows, gods are not worth it. It's fine as it is, mono/duo/trio > Rainbow in pvp, Rainbow > all gods. Just make two decks....

oh well i guess the only real way to implement what i was suggesting would be to increase the cards in each element. I don't want rainbow decks weaker, i want mono-duo decks to be stronger. so that there are more mono-duo decks that can compete with false gods.

I say nerf quantum pillars. Three per turn is too many per pillar. Rainbow decks wouldn't be so OP if it was two per turn.

Then also nerf immolation :D
Immolation+cheap growth creatures+fire mark kills you before you could put down 4-5 quantum pillars.

Mono decks aren't even suppose to be used, have you seen the new updates? We're SUPPOSE to used duo/trio/rainbow decks, monos are junk.

nono nerfing rainbow is a bad idea. at least until there are mono/duo decks that can replace it. without rainbow decks fg's would be much harder to farm. pretty near impossible.

I think we can maybe use the system of Astral masters (like someone suggested before).
When you use only one element you need less quantum.
Wehn you use two or three or maybe more elements you have to pay more quanta.

I don't see how rainbow is overpowered. IF (a big if) every draw is optimal, it is better. But the quanta are random, just like the cards in hand. With a no brainer mono deck, you don't really have to think (and actually you have little choice) what card you play.
With a rainbow, you have options and also a bigger luck/knowledge factor.
And honestly, single/duo rush decks in TOP50 AI beat me harder than FG's.

I love this idea.  Even just to shave 1 quantum from the chosen mark off of the casting cost would make a difference.

How is mono/duo/trio > Rainbow in pvp?
<-- #2 pvp victories of all time on kong with a rainbow deck. Maybe it's not such a big deal to have it on kong, but my rainbow deck does pretty well in pvp so far. I lose only about one in 12 matches unless against other rainbows.

I also have the easiest time against mono decks with my rainbow since most mono decks have a weakness (ex: aether for the lack of control over permanents, fire for its weak creatures, etc.) which any rainbow can exploit.

I think the only non-rainbow deck that I've ever had a hard time against is a highly upgraded speed poison deck. The main weakness with rainbows is that they usually need to buy a lot of time through sundials and shields to get the quantums they need for a particular element, and speed poison decks can really start eating away at your health fast.
