I also had an idea for bringing inflation to the game. Most forumgoers probably don't know about this because I suggested it as a substitute for the trading system that keeps getting shot down.
My idea was to have the bazaar resell cards that other players had sold, at prices chosen by those players. The main arguments against the trading system were that players could con newbies out of rare cards, or funnel the winnings of several accounts into one, so I suggested that the prices chosen should have to be between the bazaar's buy and sell prices.
To keep nymphs/marks ungrindable, I suggested that a new card which I called "rare coin" be created -- basically a relic that couldn't be won in slots. The only way to get one would be to sell a mark or a nymph, and you'd need one for each mark or nymph you bought.
