Maybe making it so that if you don't have any QPs, pillars/pends or a mark of the same element as the Oracle card, you aren't allowed to submit it. It would be a bit simpler to code. (I think ;))

mark used must be of the same element as the oracle cards wouldn't do. consider i get chrysora, and now i need a  :death mark

Note the "OR".
Anyways, I mean if you don't have a pillar/pend of the same element as the oracle card, or (maybe) QPs, then you need your mark to match. Either or.

Wrong. Pillarless non-mono decks exist. e.g. this one. (add 5 cards)

Dead cards is a big-enough punishment to non-original-ness. If you suspect oracle ghostmares, pack some silences and they will suffer.

Yes, silence is an awesome card. (OT)
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

I've heard several people complain about having to add these dead Oracle cards because they simply have only one deck. In fact many people have only 1 deck and score is about the worst thing to determine whether or not someone "should be able to build a deck around an Oracle card". Especially given that higher score means you will need a wide upgraded card base instead of unupgraded.

I'd rather see cards more balanced out so that there's a wider variety of arena decks that can beat arena farmers and that there are more possible "successful" arena farmers. Ahh, if only...
Double draws have an entirely different balance than common decks and denial cards become all that more effective (especially Steal, Deflagration, Devourer, Black Hole, Nightmare and Silence). Balancing cards based on arena is bad, but current situation leaves much to be desired with an unbalanced arena. Changing arena to kick out double draws and changing point distribution to accommodate seems like the easiest solution (with an appropriate nerf to rewards), though that would overhaul arena entirely (for better or worse).
