That would be awesome, however, how could it have two abilities? One is regenerative and the other is Sap.

A card can only have one active ability. However, it can have multiple passive abilities.

Look at Devourer. It has both Burrow and that quanta-absorbing ability.

True. However, 'Vampire' isn't a passive ability (which is why liquid shadow acts as a spell lobotomizer).

With that 'Sap' ability it's not like it needs the vampirism anyway though; it would be comparable to other activated weapons.

then Vampire could be made into a passive ability for some cases and a shown ability for others. Dagger gets passive, Vampires and LStargets get shown. Like Momentum. Enchantees get passive, mutants and chargers get shown.

Dark weapon upgraded is bonkers. 8 life swings aren't anything to scoff at.
