Its hard enough being a Newbie, so why make Bronze so hard to make a profit.
Paying 15 to win a base of 6 is almost stupid,
getting 6 wins in a row is very unlikely, even when you have a good deck, you get a bad draw 1 in 6

I thnk the base win for bronze should be set at 15 or even 20, so winning guarantees a profit

The 15 is an ante, not a cost.  If you lose the duel, you lose the 15 ; if you win the duel, you take back your 15 and gain 6 or whatever the current reward is.  So your profit is at least 6 electrum.  Is it a lot?  No, but raising the reward has the possibility of shifting the balance to an unfavorable place.

That is not the case, or there is a bug, I frequently win less than 6.
my last win only made 4

I will keep track of my wins over the next 10 games

just won a bronze with 96 health, only gained 5, should i report this on the bugs page ?

You only win 6 if you have ~99 hp, the lower your hp the less  you get.

If you want more profit play somehting else (not bronze)
The rewards depend the number of play. understand that the base reward for bronze is 20 electrum but like too much player play bronze, the reward is decreasing.
If you beat someone in top 10 your reward is increasing.

Don´t forget: You also win cards. And the card reward is much higher than the low reward of 6 . Look into this thread about AI3 droprates: (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,31549.0.html). You get 17-42 per win. I assume that the average Bronze deck is not worse than AI3, looking at the number of copies of cards, which the decks have.

A few different possibilities; I don't know which of these might apply to you:
1)  You gained 3 electrum for winning and then gained 5 additional electrum from the bonus spins (matching the first two pictures in the spins gives you +5 electrum).
2)  You faced and defeated a higher ranking Bronze player (defeating anyone within the top 10 grants you a bonus multiplier of 2x or more electrum).

Going up against bronze isn't a good way to get money. It's a good way to get cards and rares.
