About upgraded cards...

This is probably talked over a lot, but upgraded cards should be less expensive... I am thinking maybe 1000.
It may sound not fair, since established players can farm FGs for ~1100 electrum every card sold, but with the upgrade cost lowered, the selling cost from the upgraded cards would decrease too, so not too unfair.

Many newer players quit after finding out that beating FGs with fully unupgraded deck is nearly impossible, and that every upgrade costs 1500... 1000 would much more affordable...

I can only dream of this.  It will never happen.  You are about to face either silence from the big players on this forum, or absolute denial from them.

It is a staple of the game simply for the fact that it has been that way since forever (as far as I'm aware...)

If this is the reason, than the reason is stupid. Prices fluctuate in all MMO's, life just isn't fair. The reason could be, for example, that this way T50/AI3 would definitely be better than FG's for moneymaking. To fix it, you'd either have to raise rewards of FG's, or lower those of T50/AI3. The first option might make the game to easy, and the 2nd... well, it would be the same situation as it is now, just that with smaller numbers.

If the price wouldn't drop at least give us better way to gain  .
I'd suggest more quest before fake gods;one for example giving 1500 electrum for defeating a lvl 5.

I asked Zanz directly about this a while ago.

He said, yes, the gap between vets and new players needs to go down, but no, lowering the upgraded cost of cards is not the way to do that.

And he said the way to go is more quests.

i would like a quest after the FGs too
defeat all 24 (about to be more?) at least once, you get a nymph of your choice

I would think more quest would come when top 500 comes, something tells me that will be the biggest update ever. The reason for that is top 500 might be in the quest and you have to do something, and it would be a pain to add new quest and then add them again after top 500. ( maybe? idk ) If you going to add more than one ground breaking thing to the game don't make it steady, do it all at once. XD ( has pros and cons. )

The upgrade cost is a deterrent to new players. No new players= no fresh ideas. The big players will eventually trickle down and leave. I'm all for making elements less of a grindfest. Either lower the cost to upgrade or pump big money into the game.
