A seperate button for Players with 45+ decks https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=27682.msg352731#msg352731

Hiho..

Yeah i play a 45+ cards deck and i donĀ“t really like to play against those super-specialized 30 card decks...
(Nothing against 30card decks)

I like it when both have a lot of cards and you have to fight and change the win/lose direction a few times.

:)

Cheers!

I voted yes although i'm not sure this deserves its own button.  There is an advantage towards keeping a single standard in deck sizes.

I definitely like this idea for tournaments or as part of an event.  Either that or limiting the number of copies of single card (either way players are forced to take more different cards so the effect is similar i think)

Hmm... kk now slowly i understand the "copies of a single card" strategy...

but then it should depend on the card... ie the phaseshield is something other than my stone dragon..

but i think this sounds also nice...

I dunno about a separate button, but I'm not gonna lie that 45+ card decks are the best.

I mean, take a look at this beauty.
Code: [Select]

Team Air used it this war, for one under-publicised game, and it was awesome. I was inspired. I got this deck out, replaced two to three of the cards for upgraded copies, bought myself a few more of the air pendulums, and PvP2'd.

And yeah, the back and forth. With 45 cards, the games are slower, and it's a bit more planned and stragetic.
Essentially, it's like a good, proper rally of tennis, rather than a serve (Ace!) or serve and miss, or direct reply winning.

The thing is, I dunno about an extra button. It kinda takes some of the surprise and fun out of deck out stalls and ect. And it looks a bit weird IMO. (However, I am in complete agreement that less different cards/more cards is the way to go for a funner game)

I understand your desire for larger decks to be viable on par with smaller decks as a general rule instead of an exception or special case. However the best way to do that would be for Zanz to add a card that changes the metagame to make that so.

I think the special mode shouldn't force you to use more cards but force you to use a maximum of 3-5 copies for any card that previously had a 6-copy limit.
