I will say that ai4 is extremely easy. All you need is the standard mono aether. If you look in side of the ai4 deck thread its in there. I think it costs like 1k electrum though but ai4 does give you the chance of upped cards. But its just mindless clicking with no real strategy but its a good win ratio.

Thanks for replies, 3 main ways forward.

Aves good advice on Bronze, i have noticed trends, there are really 2 types that kill me,
Anti-quanta, with burrowers and discord, and the other type are the big and fast where a few turns in they have 4 or 5 big creatures killing me fast.
Now i can counter both of these types, individually, but i cant counter both so that means whatever i do I cant get a streak going I'm working on a rainbow to counter both, but it dont work

FGs yes i'm noting the gods and building counter decks, so far i have met 3
dark matter, got owned
Decay made a fight of it but lost
seism got owned
for all 3 I looked for counter decks, but could only find out of date ones, and general advice

Pets, yes i use them to my best advantage , so far my 3 pets where
Virus, Dejuvu  and (i forgot), all 3 where useful and i made sure i had a deck where they would help, but they were not exactly game changing, its early days and i might get some better ones

AI4 i'm going with fighting AI4 today, if i can build this mono aether deck for 1k then that's very doable

80% lose no winning spins, its almost idiot-proof to play, yes i get my shield out asap, and replace them at 0

i'm going to try the steals option, although my main problem is not their shields but that i die to fast.

If you're using mono-Aether, do not immediately play your Dim Shields. You should only start chaining if you're in danger of losing (start chaining earlier if the opponent could have permanent control, or ways to get around your shield like Momentum or direct/spell damage). Otherwise, you're only wasting your defences.

I haven't tried it, but would an unupped fire/light firestall deck work for bronze?  The games might be a bit slow, but I could see it doing alright, given the decks you are finding challenging.

Farm bronze with this deck and it's probable  you will get other weapons... I'm waiting to farm a discord... just be patient, i guess...

AI4 generally isn't worth it for the reward they give out. Just farm bronze with a rainbow (pvp graboid rainbow works quite nicely).

If i get a rare weapon any weapon, I promise to never sell it.

Mostly, when people refer to "rares," they do not mean upgraded cards.  Many players refer to rares as cards that you cannot gain through the use of electrum coins, i.e, cards not available in the bazaar, which include the rare weapons, nymphs, shards, and the cards Miracle, Arctic Squid, and Pharaoh.  Generally, these are the ones you should not sell-- upgraded cards can be gotten back once you get enough money fairly easily.

You did the right thing.  And congrats on beating the FG.  I sold my first upgraded card wins as well, unless they fit into my deck; at first you need to focus on getting one good deck rather than one or two upgrades in several decks.

The only cards that you should NEVER sell under any circumstances are Nymphs.  Anything else can be replaced.  Even rares can be replaced, although it isn't as easy as other cards.

I was new to this game only a month ago. I started out struggling to beat AI2, before I realized the chat, forum, and general community was around. I found the TTW study, built Shrieker Rush, and ground out AI3.

AI4 and AI5 are meant to be big challenges - you can't expect to just charge into the game and be tearing up Arena, AI4, and False Gods. Unlike other games, this game requires a lot of thought, a lot of strategy, and a lot of time.

With the addition of the Arena, rares were made significantly rarer, mostly because of the difficult of making farms. This is intentional - rares are supposed to be rare.

The "difficulty" of the game is mianly caused by people trying for a few minutes and giving up - with many games, you can try for a few minutes and understand the game. In this game, you can play for months and be constantly discovering new things.

Interestingly today i spun the same God, used the same deck, got a similar win and won the same rare (sold already)

2 wins from 2 (6 spins) on FGs is great as my usual win percentage seems to be about 1 in 5 (15 spins)  do the chances of winning a spin vary, or is it all just random, depending on the quantity of cards in the deck you beat ?

I would assume that beating a deck with 5 card types gives you a better shot than one with 30 different types.
