PvP tournaments and forum award icons

There has been a miss-communication and many people who were 2nd, 3rd or 4th place on PvP tournaments were given trophies. Only the winner of the PvP tournaments were ever supposed to get a forum award icon.

It sucks but we have to now REMOVE those trophies.

Reason for this is that if we give 4 awards each week (now 8 with 2 tournaments), there will be too many very soon and those cool trophies lose all meaning. Also having tons of award icons makes the forum load slower.

3 best players from each tournament will still be listed in Hall of Fame, only the trophies will disappear.



Leagues on the other hand last 3 months and are much bigger events. Therefore 3 best league players will all get an award icon (as well as other prizes).

I would say give a person 5-7 award slots and you have to choose which awards show up on your profile.

And maybe only give out a trophy for first place in tournies.

The first suggestion you have is a good one but unfortunately not possible with the plugin we are using. I can limit the number of visible icons but users themselves cannot control what is visible and what is not. I'm guessing it shows the most recent or vice versa.
