If you take the "PuppyChow" out of "PuppyChow's FG Rainbow!" it becomes "FG Rainbow". For a deck that is unique, (For example, Yala's Poison Quartet, or my Pesty FG Deck) it would work fine, since it's the only deck of it's kind of that section. A deck titled "FG Rainbow" Would be amidst hundreds of others, and would force them all to come up with unique names.

Compromise: Tell what the deck is (Terro's Pesty FG Deck), and use your name in the title, (Terro's Pesty FG Deck). Just "Pesty FG Deck" doesn't have the same ring to it. Which, after all, is one of the only 2 points of even naming something.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

For some decks, this will work. However, for general FG rainbows, the variations are extensive, so the only way to truly differentiate is to whack your name on it. Just like putting an Authors name on a book.

We won't give any special treatment to anyone, it's all or nothing.

Like I've said before the name of the person whose deck it is, is visible under the thread title. There's no need to have it on both places.

"Authors name" is already there. It's the name of the thread starter.

This idea is officially seconded by Icybraker, Lord of Desynchronization. The Rainbow Decks section is probably the sole reason why I support this change.

It also encourages more creative and punn-y deck names. Whoopee!

Do you think adding price on the end would be good? as I did with my deck ideas?

The simpler, the better.

Small details like price should be included in the thread itself, not in the title. If you specifically made a deck that is very cheap, you can simply name the deck using the word "cheap".

Fair enough I see your reasoning, if the decks created properly you shouldn't need the money in original post (deck builder does it automatically).

Ok, we are going to go ahead with this little project, meaning deck makers name will be removed from all deck idea thread titles.

So everyone, if you are "guilty" of having your name in the title, please change it. Try to avoid words like "super", "mega", "best", "fastest", "most awesome", etc. Also please don't use all CAPS in the title. One good option is to name the deck so that it reveals something about the deck.

After about 5 days, we will start renaming threads for you.

NOT OK with forcing people to rename their decks.

Q. Why can't you name a deck after yourself?

To late for that now. This thread has been here for weeks, and anyone who had a problem with this had more than enough time to said their opinions.

I posted a suggestion which was supported by many, and didn't meet any strong opposition which is why I went ahead with this. Had there been tons of haters, I would have discarded this whole idea.

This change won't cure cancer but it makes the forum more readable and works hand in hand with the new upcoming deck listing thing I'm working on. Also like I've said a million times, the name of the person who posted the thread is still visible, so your name is not going anywhere, and you will get that precious credit for your work.

Also If you want, you can still use your name inside the thread. This is only about the thread title.

The discussion part of this is now over, and we have moved moved to the announcement part. To avoiding any further forum drama or wasting my time explaining things again, I'm now locking this thread.

Anyone who wants to discuss this any further or have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Yes, well what I said was worded poorly. There's nothing wrong with using any of those words actually. You can of course say "Mega Graboids" or something. The problem is names like "FASTEST BEST SUPER MEGA DECK EVER!". But I'm not going to start policing those. It was just a suggestion as I used the words "try to avoid" and not "these words are forbidden".
