To late for that now. This thread has been here for weeks, and anyone who had a problem with this had more than enough time to said their opinions.
I posted a suggestion which was supported by many, and didn't meet any strong opposition which is why I went ahead with this. Had there been tons of haters, I would have discarded this whole idea.
This change won't cure cancer but it makes the forum more readable and works hand in hand with the new upcoming deck listing thing I'm working on. Also like I've said a million times, the name of the person who posted the thread is still visible, so your name is not going anywhere, and you will get that precious credit for your work.
Also If you want, you can still use your name
inside the thread. This is only about the
thread title.
The discussion part of this is now over, and we have moved moved to the announcement part. To avoiding any further forum drama or wasting my time explaining things again, I'm now locking this thread.
Anyone who wants to discuss this any further or have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Ok, we are going to go ahead with this little project, meaning deck makers name will be removed from all deck idea thread titles.
So everyone, if you are "guilty" of having your name in the title, please change it. Try to avoid words like "super", "mega", "best", "fastest", "most awesome", "ULTIMATE" etc. Also please don't use all CAPS in the title. One good option is to name the deck so that it reveals something about the deck.
After about 5 days, we will start renaming threads for you.
Yes, well what I said was worded poorly. There's nothing wrong with using any of those words actually. You can of course say "Mega Graboids" or something. The problem is names like "FASTEST BEST SUPER MEGA DECK EVER!". But I'm not going to start policing those. It was just a suggestion as I used the words "try to avoid" and not "these words are forbidden".
