Warmaster

Council is now hiring three new Warmasters for War 8 and onwards!

The job of Warmaster requires:

• being a Jr. member or above
• setting up war rules and managing the whole event
• updating standings, creating threads each round, and keeping War updated
• settling match disputes as they occur, as well as being able to stand large amounts of drama
• being extremely active during the whole event
• cooperating with other Warmasters
• offering ideas on how to improve the event

The Warmaster is an Event Organizer who only organizes this one big event that happens once every few months. During War, being VERY active is an absolute must for this position, and Google Docs experience is very useful. If you want a chance to be a part of the organization for war, please send a PM to SpikeSpiegel titled 'Warmaster Application'.

IMO two is too low. Last time we fell short with even three (yes it was an anomaly, but still). The number hired should prolly depend on the number of applicants.

We'll have 3 WMs. If those 3 will be active, we're pretty sure that there won't be issues.

Also, a note to all potential WMs: Trials Phase 4 starts on the 21st of august, so (unless there's too much dilly-dallying ) Trials should be over by the 3rd of September. Something to keep in mind for scheduling

One of the things WMs have to do is check for vault penalties, so no WMs don't play in War.

A WM has access to all War sections, that means he would be able to see all teams vaults. Now, in past Wars vaults were secret, so my answer would be: NO.

Btw, if new WMs will set up new amazing rules that don't include secret sections (I see it very hard), in that case it would be possible for WMs to join War.

Pls no, vaults being secret is a huge part of the strategy.

I don't see a way for a WM to participate in war as well. It would just muddle things up.
