What is a Social Network Manager?
Social Network Manager will be the person who takes care of the Facebook and Twitter Elements Community pages.

The main tasks are:
-Keeping the social EtG group updated with announcements of important events and happenings in the forum.

Requirements
- Jr. Member or above
- Very active on the forums
- A facebook/twitter account

Originally the topic was posted saying that we are currently looking for 1-2 Social Network Managers. This has been corrected.

I'll bring this up here because I may not be the only thinking this way

But how relevant is a social network manager?

Relevant to what? Aside, to not have someone possibly getting involved in social media is to shoot the community in the foot regarding growth. Moreso when you consider the 'relatively' stagnant game development.

But after Council considered it, only 1 position was warranted. This may change at a later time.

Having someone manage our social networks is a no lose situation. It will also help with keeping people up to date if there are issues with the forum etc.

The issues thing reminded me: back when the previous forum domain expired, I used Kongregate to contact everyone about how Zanz was choosing new Admins. Kong is sort of where it co-started and where a large part of the userbase resides. As such it should be a priority among the SNM's responsibilities.
