I'm still WM, but I believe it'd be better for everyone if we had multiple people on the job. Yes I realize that WM often ends up becoming a one-person job but even the ideas and input early on would help out a lot.

And so I encourage everyone interested to apply!

Problem with adding WMs if we don't think they are really needed is it detracts from pool of players.
Is there any potential of having a War Master for preparing war, who steps down when auctions start so they can still play?

I'd be willing to help out with this. CuCN's War gdocs took a fair bit of time to figure out alone, so I can help the new WM(s) with the process if needed.

In theory, it is possible, just likely not now. A lot of preparations done pre-war (including stuff likely already done) are things that participants are not supposed to see. For a WM to be able to play in war has to be planned long in advance.
