Has the Council decided what to do if money runs dry?  As this will happen in less then a month baring a generous contribution...
In chat we talked about reddit or a free hosting forum... I would also highly suggest to lighten the site as it is full of useless/necro post that we can rid of making the transfer easier.  This can't wait after next month as we will have nowhere to see where te site is now... you need to give time to people to see where we are now.

I will donate another month's worth in a day or two, so our deadline is April. But otherwise what mrpaper said

While PayPal is still the easiest way to take donations, I do hate this about it. If you have any suggestions of a better way to take donations, please let me know. I greatly appreciate your support!

I use Google Wallet to transfer money to family - no fees. Not sure how donations work, but it may be similar. Has to be sent to and from a gmail address and both have to be connected to bank accounts, I believe.

You have the Silver Doner Icon, or do you mean an additional donation?

When the forums receive donations, I update that post in order to recognize the donors. PayPal should be confirming that your donation went through, but this post is an even stronger confirmation. I would be happy to send out custom personal messages as well. I will try to do this in the future.

Been playing this game for ages, and I finally decided to drop a coin here at forum side. Tried to put $20.00 USD (equals €19.16 EUR) in, which is what my Paypal shows exactly. The hosting status page shows only $18.92. I quess something was lost in translation. Expecting those $19.12 to be similar hiccups. Probably it reads somewhere in paypal site, but I didn't bother to check. Makes no difference anyway, but you could mention there, in case one tries to match certain amount or config Paypal to add extra payment (?), so receiving end gets exact amount - or not.

Post edit: Aaaand, this issue seems to be mentioned in that hosting status page. I should learn to read. Or focus to read. Or focus. Focus.

The 'small fee' taken down by Paypal seems to be between 3-5.5%, averaging around 4% (OldTrees could give a more exact intervall  )
