I don't know who applied, but I would like a mature and emotionally stable person as a Warmaster.
I can't echo this enough. The role of Warmaster is actually pretty challenging, and they have to deal with all sorts of difficult situations which require sound and dispassionate judgement. ddevans managed to carry it off with aplomb last time, but I would be concerned if someone got the job who wasn't up to the task (mostly because it would mean more work for Scaredgirl).
